Your information stays yours. Here's exactly what we collect and why.
When you apply we collect your name, contact details, date of birth, home address, employment and income details, and information about the vehicle you want. We also record technical details such as your IP address, browser and the marketing source that brought you to us.
We use your information to assess your application, match you with lenders and vehicles, and communicate with you about your application. If you opt in, we may also send you offers and updates.
We share your application with our lending and dealer partners so they can assess and fulfil your financing. Sensitive identifiers are transmitted in hashed form wherever our partners support it. We never sell your information to unrelated third parties.
Submitting an application to Carizi does not affect your credit score. A formal credit check only happens when you ask us to proceed with a specific vehicle and lender, and you will be told before it happens.
Applications are transmitted over encrypted connections and stored in access-controlled systems. Only authorised Carizi staff and our lending partners can see your application.
You can unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time using the link in any email or by replying STOP to a text. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by contacting hello@carizi.ca.
